Right. So... I don't draw. Or, rather, I try to, but I'm quite bad at it, and I could probably improve if I drew more, but I'd rather write than draw. So, I spend more time doing that than practicing drawing.

Maybe this is why I totally fangirl artists -- they do something that I can't do, and I admire that. Hell, I admire anyone who can do anything I can't do. It astounds me that there are people who, armed with only a pencil and paper, can create (and recreate) images that look real enough to touch, genuine facial expressions, the illusion of movement... It blows my mind.

So after getting frustrated with not being able to remember all the names of my favorite DevArt artists and ending up spending way too many hours doing fruitless searches, I decided to get a DA account to keep track of my favorites. I probably won't post any art here -- scratch that: I will not be posting any art here (unless preceded by a head injury accompanied by delusions of grandeur), though I may start posting a little bit of my (seriously amateurish) photography. Who knows?

(I also need to figure out how the heck to make a gallery of my favorites, because this page is seriously empty, and that will never do.)
